A Beautiful Winter Wedding at Iscoyd Park, Cheshire
It’s always a real honor to be asked to do the makeup for a bride and it’s always an extra treat when the you love the venue where they’re getting married. Iscoyd Park, Cheshire is one of my all time favorite venues. Toni is actually the sister of one of my most loyal clients, Mikki, so of course I was delighted when they asked for me to do the wedding makeup.
The Wedding was on a crisp January Morning, although it was fresh the sky was clear and the sun was beaming with gorgeous views from the bridal suite at Iscoyd Park. Toni was extremely calm and collected, which always makes my job that bit easier.
The Bridal Makeup
When Toni came for her bridal trial it was very clear that she wanted to look as fresh faced as possibly whilst enhancing her features. I kept the makeup fresh and dewy to create a really healthy looking glow. On her eyes I focused on neutral colours that would best compliment her eyes. False eyelashes are a great way to open your eyes up on your wedding day. For a natural but enhanced look I used CINK Holy Grail eyelashes. This pair of false lashes are so wispy and light weight which are perfect for your big day because they’re so comfortable you actually can’t even feel them.
The Bridesmaid Makeup
Both Toni and her beautiful bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suite at Iscoyd Park. The suite is so lavish, with tall ceilings, a stand alone bath and a four poster bed – total bliss! Usually with the bridesmaids makeup, we choose a colour way to compliment the bridesmaids as well as complimenting the colour of the dresses.
A Special Shoutout
I was absolutely blown away by the flowers at Toni’s wedding that were actually curated by her sister Mikki. Mikki Burton is the most incredible florist. Her style is so unusually classic and i say this because her arrangements are like nothing i’ve ever seen before but in the same note so elegant and classy. I love the natural feel all of the arrangements have, as though the flowers have been freshly picked from a field and put together. Mikki has trained with the likes of Philippa Craddock who was the chosen florist for the Royal Wedding so it is fair to say that she would create flowers fit for a queen!
